Saini Orthodontics COVID-19 Update

5/18/2020

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE, FLEXIBILITY AND UNDERSTANDING!!! Protocol for Upcoming Visits

  • Completion of an abbreviated medical questionnaire will be required before visits.
  • Call us when you arrive so that a staff member can greet you and guide you or your child to and from their appointment.
  • Only the patient being treated is to enter the office unless the patient is younger or has special needs. If that is the case, please inform us ahead of time and we request only one parent/guardian accompany the child.
  • We ask that you leave any phones, bags, etc. in your car. Less is ideal.
  • Please ensure that anyone entering the office comes with their own mask and is wearing gloves. We can provide Level 1 masks, but please remain sensitive to the shortage in global supply of Personal Protective Equipment. We suggest wearing winter gloves that can be easily washed when you return home. The majority of our patients will not have to touch any surfaces.
  • Patients will have their temperature taken. We strive to use contactless thermometers that provide accurate results.
  • You will notice that furniture has been adjusted to allow for social distancing.
  • Our previously open-concept front desk will be equipped with custom sneeze guards.
  • Maintain 6-foot social distancing guidelines when inside of our office until seated in the treatment chair.
  • The tooth brushing station will remain closed, so please arrive having brushed your teeth.
  • Restroom use will be restricted or limited during this time. Kindly let a staff member know that you wish to use the restroom.
  • Seating for procedures will adhere to social distancing guidelines and account for the type of procedure performed.
  • Patients will rinse with Hydrogen Peroxide chairside.
  • Follow up appointments can be made in the office, or over the phone. If you wish to speak with a doctor about treatment progress, a phone call is ideal.

Our Team

  • All team members will have their own temperatures read upon entry each morning and after lunch. If any team member’s temperature is 100° or greater, they will be sent home.
  • Staff members will be screened for additional symptoms.
